I know this is seriously off topic But, my wife and I took our two girls to see the Lion King yesterday at the Wharton Center in East Lansing. It was spectacular in every way! The singing was something to behold, the costumes were incredible and there was even some really great guitar work being done in the orchestra, both electric and classical.

I highly recommend it for anyone, but if you have kids, its a must see!

I did the same thing a couple of years ago in Hollywood. It was great. Another strong recommendation here.

So who enjoyed it better? You and your wife or the kids?

Lance,
that play is so rich visually. Every scene is an absolute painting of color
and design. And the puppet choreography is amazing. I was in complete
awe after seeing it a couple of years ago. There's no age group that
wouldn't find it entertaining. You're lucky to have it touring in your area. I
can see it all again in my mind...

Yep, fabulous. Took the family around Christmas, wife, 9yo daughter and 6yo son. Never saw my son sit still for so long. The best family entertainment ever. Couldn't believe the sets and costumes.
